On a Mac. Installed brush packs per instruction. They installed with no problem. When I go in to finder, the brushes are in /Applications/Corel Painter 2019/Brushes/Splatter/ for instance. But in CP2019 when I can see the brush pack names I only see the brushes in the last old brush pack like Real Watercolor. If I'm in Real Watercolor and switch to one of the new brush pack, I still see the Real Watercolor brushes.
How can I access the brushes in the new brush packs?
Using Painter since 2006
Found that the brushpack folders with no brushes were in ~/Library/Application Support/Corel/Painter 2019/Hal 2/Brushes. I moved the brushes into the appropriate folders and restarted Painter. Still no brushes.
Someone else here had the same problem with PE6 brushpacks- resolved by messaging Corel on their Facebook page- https://www.facebook.com/corelpainter/
they put him in touch with U.S. based Support who then had to take remote control of his computer to straighten out.
Way too many problems reported with installation of Corel Brush packs- why I won't buy any.
Thanks Ron. I'll do that.
