Hello. I'm wondering if there is yet a way to save the order of brushes that I have set in Painter (now 2020)? That is, I have rearranged my list of brushes in the Brushes Palette so that similar brush types are grouped together instead of all listed alphabetically. But every time I open the Brushes Palette, they re all back alphabetical.
Is there a way to make my arrangement stick?
Thanks!
I had to look for that, it looks like quite a lot has changed around the paper palettes.
The import/export is now accessible from the very bottom left of the panel, there's an icon with the pop-up title "manage libraries".
Thanks, Brendoon. But, there doesn't seem to be any such thing for the Brush Library/Palette.
Oops, sorry. I was looking into the paper palettes.
Check into the top right corner with the three bars... down the menu see if Export>Brush Library is available.
It's interesting, I'm still locked into practice learned on much older versions.
I hadn't discovered you can drag and drop your brush categories into different orders. Really wish I knew (or perhaps had the option?) back in 2015/16. The categories had no logical order to 'em at all at the time.
