I upgrade Painter 2018. I have copies of both 2020 & 2019, both crash on launch - tried reboot to factory settings to no avail.
I am on windows 7 and computer specs are above recommendation. I use Wacom Intuos tablet

are you still unable to launch? I was wondering if you tried the following:
1. Reboot the system. Does Painter still crash?
2. Check if you have all the latest Windows 7 updates. If you have turned off updates turn the back on, allow the system to update, reboot, then try launching
Is there any other detail you can provide? It sounds like you had 'previous answers'...is this from a different thread? If so, can you link us to it?
yes, I have rebooted the machine.

several times - deleted software, cleaned registry and have reinstalled but no luck
wondering if its a display card issue
Graphics card wouldn't cause your problems as while 2020 can use GPU acceleration it is not dependent on it.
thx, any other suggestions?
Update or roll back Wacom driver- maybe.
