I purchased the Humble Bundle Çreate with Confidence'which included a copy of Painter 2019. To be honest, that was the main reason I bought it. I was disappointed when the software refused to run at all.
My iMac (21.5-inch, 2017)
Processor is 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
I have uninstalled, re-installed, installed the patch update and tried the shift while opening bit. No messages have appeared in my security pane in the System Preferences.
Can anybody help? I was really looking forward to using this.
Here is the dialogue box error message:

Hi VC David,
A couple of quick questions:
-Is Painter installed to your local drive or to an 'alias' / non-local harddisk?
-Are you using a 'case -sensitive' hard drive volume (such as HSFX (HFS+) or UFS)?
I have installed it to the main hard drive, which uses APFS. According to Disk Utility, it is not case sensitive.
Could you please go to your system (drive) > Library > Preferences
Go to: system (drive) > Library > Preferences > Corel > Downloads > # >CUHUpdate-2.484.pk
Do you have the pkg file?
If you see the pkg, please run it,
Try to launch the app again.
Let me know how it goes,
Hi, I'm having the exact same issue as described above, but I'm not quite sure that I understand how this was resolved.
Am I supposed to rename the com.corel.CUH to com.corel.CUH.update, or something-else? Also, when I go to Library > Preferences > Corel, there is no 'Downloads', only 'Messages'.
I re-named the files BACKUP-com.corel.CUH and BACKUP-com.corel.CUH.update
These are in Macintosh HD / Library/Preferences / Corel / Downloads/
As you can see from the screenshot.
Then I ran the package file as explained above.
I hope this helps.
Hi, thanks for your response! Unfortunately I can't follow this process as I simply do not have a Downloads folder in that location; only a Messages one. No matter how many times I reinstall from the Humble Bundle, there's never a Downloads folder inside the Corel folder, and therefore no package files anywhere.
