I have a new computer and all my performance is excellent. I am getting random lines when using my Cintiq Pro 24 and pen. Has anyone had this issue and if so what can I do to correct it?
I too have had the same issue with my Cintiq Pro 24 generating random lines. When I contacted both Wacom and Corel it turns out that it is not the hardware. The eventual response from Corel is that it is a known issue. Refer to my case 6018608.
They do not have a time frame for the solution.
I determined that I could eliminate the artifact by Switching the Tablet settings from Wacom-compatible to RTS-compatible. Select Edit/Preferences/Tablet/ and modify the Tablet settings. The biggest problem with this is now a lot of the Wacom pen features will not work (like the buttons).
I also have a Wacom Tablet computer with the Pro Pen 2 that doesn't have this issue at all.
It is possibly linked to the recent spate of Windows updates.
Let me know if you have more information too.
Hope this helps.

Thank you Paul, I had them go in remotely and they set it to the other setting. It seems to be working a bit better but you are right the settings on the pen don't seem to work well. They have told me the same thing and that its a known issue, just last week I asked for an update and they are working on a patch that may take some time. I suspect they are also working on an update that will be due to come out this summer as well. I am wondering if it will be updated there.
How do I search for you case #, I am new on this site. I am 6015972. Thanks again
At the least we are not alone in our problem. Looking through various other threads this is a problem that has reared it's ugly head occasionally. Possibly the issues could be linked. It is possibly a little more effective if a whole lot of people complain at the same time.
I haven't spent a lot of time on this site. Mostly time issues, however, I think I will be paying more attention as I am using Painter 202 and CorelDraw a lot more. Of course, my job gets in the way.
The case number is for Corel only. I don't think this site uses that, although I know that there are some technical experts that scan the site for issues.
You mentioned that in your discussions with Corel that it was hinted that the problem might be addressed in a new release. I just purchased Corel Painter 2021 and it seems to correct the issue.
When I go back to 2020 and select the Edit/Preferences/Tablet and select Wacom-compatible device. Then close and open the application I can see the random lines appearing again. I am using Pens and Pencils/Flat Color for this test. After about 5-10 strokes I get the artifact.
Performing the same experiment in Painter 2021 doesn't seem to cause problems.
Of course, Painter 2020 didn't seem to have the problem for me initially but I suspect the problem showed up with the latest Windows 10 Updates.
Maybe you could see if they would give you a bigger discount than they are already offering ;)
