This just started this morning. Picture turns pale grey when I try to resize, can't see the details which can make it hard to recise to precision.I've tried all sorts of settings off and on but no luck.Has anyone else ever experienced this?
By the way, the colour returns once transformation is complete. It's just new though...
Hi Brendoon, I'm wondering if you have "Fast Preview Mode" enabled? In 2020 and 2021, it's a checkbox with a label roughly in the middle of the Transform Tool property bar. If so, this is how it is supposed to work...IIRC, this has been a feature since ~Painter X3...
Generally speaking I would think this is mostly needed when transforming multiple layers as opposed to a single layer, so maybe consider disabling it if you don't like the grey?
Thanks heaps Stephen.I tried putting that on and off again but it shows grey both ways, unfortunately.
Perhaps something unexpected has happened and it's locked on or something.
Oh wow, that is weird...you could try this:
1. Backup your workspace. (just in case.... go Window > Workspace > Export Workspace)
2. Try a fresh workspace (Window > Workspace > New workspace)
See if the issue is still there. It can't hurt to close and restart Painter.
Curious if that 'unsticks' it...
Oh an to clarify, this is only a temporary measure...if you have a lot of customizations you may still need your OG workspace but for now I'm curious what will happen (you can go back to your workspace via Window > Workspace > (your old workspace should still be listed)
