New iMac 27" and question.

Love my new iMac, and of course, I love Painter, I'm working with version 22 with Monterey. Question though, It seems my graphics card is not identified in the testing option. See image:

AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT 8 GBAnybody have an idea why this is so?

Hi Tom, that is strange.
We have noticed on our testing that Painter performance is very good on new macs with CPU alone. However, it should recognize the GPU.
If you don't mind, please try the following steps:

-- Export/save the current workspace to safeguard any content and customizations, so that they can re-import it later as needed. (not required if you don't have any customizations)

-- Quit Painter. Then re-Launch holding down SHIFT. Keep holding SHIFT down till you see a pop up window. Choose to reset all settings and all workspaces.

-- Once Painter has launch, wait a good minute or 2 to ensure the system is no longer busy.

-- Close any other application you may have running on your mac, then try running the "Optimize Now" again.

Please let us know if GPU is still red.

Problem fixed. I was running Painter from an external ssd that was created on another Mac. Defaulting to factory specs cured the problem. Now over 5600 with default specs. Thanks for the tip.
