Greetings,
A few days ago, seemingly out of nowhere, my copy of Corel Painter 2021 went from starting up in literal seconds, to the point where I can literally load a lot of my other art programs, like Photoshop, Sketchbook, Clip Studio Paint, etc. all before Painter 2021 is ready to use.
After trying several solutions, including uninstalling and reinstalling the program, doing likewise with the Wacom drivers, etc., I disconnected from the internet, and found that Painter 2021 would go right back to starting up as fast as it used to.
Thus, my question is if there is anyway I can resolve this issue, whether by limiting some of Corel Painter's connections to the internet, or by some other means, and return the program back to its former fast startup time.
I've already tried using my firewall to block the program from the internet, as well as edit the hosts file under C:\system32\drivers\etc, but neither have had the desired effect.
Thank you for your time.
i don't have that problem on Painter 2021. It's strange. All i can think of is to turn off the Messaging settings under Help. Could be something if you purchased some Brush Packs. Hard to say. But having several other programs open first could be loading up the RAM or taxing your CPU. Just guessing here.
