Hi, Just working my way round painter 2023, may be common knowledge but cant find the answer anywhere.
When I use the sliders the image on the screen wont preview the effect of the slider until my pen is taken off/mouse button released. For instance when I'm using the slider to adjust the opacity of a layer, I cant tell how opaque thats making the layer till its released. I can of course keep clicking and then adjust with the keypad but its really annoying.
Is this normal?, in any tuition video the sliders work just how youd expect.
Thanks in advance
Hey Auxradar,
I get the same behavior as you on Windows 10 / Painter 2023...the opacity of the layer does not update until the slider is released. This would be a nice improvement tho!
Which tutorial video shows the slider working in real-time?
Im watching stuff by aaron rutten, im running windows 11 on both my systems, my laptop has painter 2012 and my office system has 2013. Painter support aren't any help. I was just wondering if this was normal or If aaron was tapping awaybat the slider like i do. Its workable but annoying, perfectly fine using arrow keys.
Aaron's videos are great! Yeah at least on my Windows 10/Painter 23 the sliders aren't real-time, my guess is Win 11 would be the same.
And thanks for the arrow key tapping nice suggestion, I'm going to use that myself and I'm sure others reading this will enjoy that work-around as well.
