  • "Not enough memory to perform this task"

    Digital watercolor on sep layers. 3 to be exact. 4th layer is to be a chalk layer. Then as I change the variables in the Brush Ct for that Chalk layer, the 'subject' message comes up and CP is now frozen on my computer. I have Vista. Tons of memory and hard drive space. This has never happened in CP before but I have noticed lately that it has...

    This is a bug in Painter that has been around for years. One help is to click Windows/Arrange Palettes/Default. This should bring back the missing Brush Selector but will NOT keep it there; i.e. it will drift off and run away with the spoon when you are not looking. You will then have to waste more time rearranging the workspace. I loose that thing...

  • I lost my brush selector!

    Hi all! I'm a little stuck. I've been working on a big project in Painter 11, and had to do a lot of moving around of my various toolbars. Every once in a while, I'd accidentally undock the Brush Selector from its default position in the upper right hand corner of the Painter window. I usually remember to get it back over there, but I forgot...
