Possible bug in Painter 12 using Stroke Attributes and transparent layers

Here's a problem I've reported as a possible bug to Corel Support, but I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this in Painter 12. I painted on a layer, and then checked the "preserve transparency" icon on the layer. Then I tried to paint on the already painted area with a brush...

How can you delete a Brush Category?

How can you get rid of a brush category (not a variant), I did the Capture Brush Category option and now would like to get rid of it, but can't figure out how. Help Please?. Thanks.
